The N-IP12A2 Isolated Power Supply is a great product for noisy MP3 players -- including iPods. Only four wires needed. You feed it +12 Volts and chassis ground, and the N-IP12A2 supplies a super clean +12 Volts and ground for your accessories. The ultimate "noise filter."

The N-IP12A2 Isolated Power Supply supplies a regulated 13.8 Volts DC at 2 Amps from an input voltage of 9 to 16 Volts DC. The main feature of the N-IP12A2 is that output voltage is NOT connected to the input voltage. This means that as long as the load does not touch the car’s chassis, the N-IP12A2 will supply a new ground reference that is clean, regulated, and free of the car’s accessory noise.

The N-52R is a 12 volt relay that is completely isolated from the vehicle. The input resistance is over 1000 ohms so the on current is less than 15 mA. The Normally Open contacts of the secondary relay are rated for 20 amps. Connect +12 volts  DC to the trigger input, and 12 volts, at 20 amps will be at the output.
