The NE-684V is a brand new updated version of our
older N-684 and N-684V interface adapters.
The NE-684V is a four-channel adapter designed to
interface aftermarket decks to factory amps (i.e. Sony
speaker level decks to Ford Explorer OEM amps). There is
no loss of signal level through the full bandwidth
circuitry. The NE-684 is fully transformer isolated
with phase and frequency compensation to prevent noise and
damage to aftermarket or OEM components. The NE-684
is safe and easy to install and features four floating
speaker level inputs and four floating speaker level
outputs with Plug and Play wiring.
The signal level can be adjusted from a maximum of 9.5
Volts rms down to zero volts. This feature was included
for optimizing the S/N of system and is a must for
competition or demo systems. The NE-684V is fully
transformer isolated with phase and frequency compensation
to prevent noise and damage to aftermarket or OEM
components. The NE-684V is safe and easy to
install. The NE-684V features four floating speaker
level inputs and four floating speaker level outputs. To
alter the signal level of the NE-684V, simply
squeeze the plastic lid on the long sides and lift up on
the top. There are four small trim pots inside that are
factory pre-set to the maximum signal level. We recommend
leaving the level as high as possible for maximum signal
and minimal noise.
Notice that the NE-684V has color coded wires on
Molex plugs on both sides. The larger plug, with spaces
for up to 10 wires, is the INPUT side. Connect these wires
to the speaker level output of your aftermarket (i.e.
Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, JVC, etc.) deck. The smaller plug
on the opposite end of the NE-684V is the OUTPUT
side. Connect these wires to the factory amplification.

The NE-774V
is a competition quality, four-channel OEM to
aftermarket stereo adaptor that was designed
to connect the speaker level outputs of a factory
deck into the pre-amp level inputs of an
aftermarket equalizer, electronic crossover, or
power amplifier. The signal level of the NE-774V
can be adjusted from a maximum of 9.5 Volts rms
down to zero volts. The NE-774V replaces
our previous N-774V and the main difference is in
the Plug and Play wiring and connectors. The
circuitry is identical to the 2-channel N-7V and
N-777. Notice that the signal level adjustment
pots are inside the plastic enclosure. Simply
squeeze the lid for access to the adjustment pots.
Turning the pots clockwise increases the signal
level. We recommend leaving the internal pots at
the maximum level unless there is a good reason to
decrease the level. The NE-774V features
full transformer isolation with a maximum useable
signal level, and a smooth frequency response --
which means more signal and less noise. The NE-774V
includes compensation for both frequency and phase
with no loss of bass or treble. The maximum signal
level output of the NE-774V is 9.5 Volts
per channel. This is an incredible level and
amounts to over 4 times the signal level of a
typical aftermarket deck with only 2 Volts of
signal. The NE-774V is the best LOC (Line Output
Converter) in the world. |

The
Navone Engineering NE-7V is a stereo, full-range speaker level to
pre-amp level line output adapter with balanced and/or common outputs,
full transformer isolation, an adjustable output signal level that
ranges from zero up to 9.5 Volt Maximum RMS, and a powerful infrasonic
filter on the bottom end. The inputs of the device connect to the
car's left and right speaker leads that are provided, and the
gold-plated RCA female chassis mount outputs feed into the input of an
aftermarket equalizer, electronic crossover, or power amplifier. The
fully isolated circuitry eliminates DC ground loops and provides
excellent coupling with a high input impedance. The source impedance
of the Navone Engineering NE-7V is low enough to be considered a
competition grade component. The output range adjustment (0 to 9.5
Volts) permits a wide range of OEM decks to perfectly interface with a
wide range of aftermarket components. However, we highly recommend
leaving the trim pots at the MAX level. To optimize the signal and
minimize the system noise, we also recommend using the Autosound 2000
Test Disc CD#104, Level Setting, to perfectly set up your system's
gain structure.

The NE-7V's circuitry was designed by David Navone and Richard Clark
of Autosound 2000. This high-quality Line Output Converter can be used
in high-end competition and demo systems to couple the audio from the
OEM factory deck into an aftermarket power amplifier. Adding a
sub-woofer to a factory system is a typical recommended use of the
NE-7V. Remember, when the NE-7V is added to a factory system, the
stock OEM deck can exhibit output specs as good, if not better, than
the most expensive high-end aftermarket decks. The only difference
between NE-7V and the NE-8V is in the packaging. The NE-7V comes with
input wires. We typically use the striped wire to connect to the +
speaker terminal of the factory speaker. After the input wires of the
NE-7V are connected to the factory + and - speaker terminals, the
factory speaker can be removed, or left in place. Also, if noise is a
consideration, we recommend running long speaker leads from the + and
- speaker terminals and locating the NE-7V very close to the input of
the aftermarket power amplifier.

The N-7785V is a four channel device
that features two channels of full range output, plus two channels
of low pass out with the same bass boost as the N-85
and N-85V.
The signal level can be adjusted from a maximum of 9.5 volts rms
down to zero volts. This is a great feature for optimizing the S/N
of system and a must for competition or demo systems. Turning the
knobs clockwise increases the signal level. At the amplifier/speaker
we recommend a 1:3 gain structure for most systems. The
N-7785V is a great device to connect an OEM deck into TWO
aftermarket amplifiers. The front amps can be fed a full-range
signal and the rear channels can be low-pass only.
